Soumuy Nam moved from Cambodia after acquiring dual citizenship as a winner of the Diversity Visa Program. Her first salon work after obtaining her cosmetology license in the states was as the general assistant here at Meche salon. Muy committed herself to learning from the ground up, assisting our collective of top colorists before earning a role as Tracey Cunningham’s apprentice. Ensuing travels to every corner of the world expanded her view of what is possible and solidified her belief that hair is the crown we all wear. Muy lives the American dream and channels her gratitude through a passion for color by showing each client what is possible for them, too.
