Creative, versatile, and passionate about her craft, Melissa Uehara has been able to established herself as a successful bi-coastal hair stylist over the past 14 years.

Melissa was on the path towards a career in marketing, when she decided to pursue her true calling: beauty. After receiving her bachelors degree from Cal State Long Beach, she pursued her passion at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. Upon graduating, she developed her career under the creative directors at the time of, Wella International. Her education background led her to one of the most sought out salons in New York City, Marie Robinson Salon. Melissa quickly became one of the most in-demand stylist at Marie Robinson, and the loyalty of her clientele has kept her returning to the East Coast until recently, as she has decided to put her focus in growing her Los Angeles based clientele.

Today, she credits her wide-ranging knowledge and education as the key to her success. Her analytical skills, innate creativity, and focus on the customer experience consistently result in thoughtfully crafted and flattering cuts, perfectly tailored to every one of her clients.

As well as catering to a wide-range clientele, she has developed a niche for wedding styling. She is able to create effortlessly chic styles to accommodate brides around the globe. Meche has become the perfect home for her to house her many talents.
